A + Driving School

A+ Driving School is a local Minnesota company dedicated to helping our students become responsible drivers. Our students not only learn the rules of the road, but they become courteous and safe drivers through our professional classroom teaching and industry-leading behind-the-wheel instruction. We are licensed by the Minnesota Department of Public Safety, and we are fully insured and bonded for your peace of mind.

Our Services

At A+ Driving School, we offer a variety of services to cater to different needs and preferences. Whether you're a teenager looking to get your first driver's license, an adult seeking to improve your driving skills, or a parent wanting to ensure your child becomes a safe driver, we have something for everyone.

Teenagers

For teenagers, we offer comprehensive classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel lessons designed to help them learn the skills necessary to become safe and responsible drivers. Our experienced instructors provide personalized attention and guidance to ensure that each student feels comfortable and confident behind the wheel. We also offer fully online classrooms for those who prefer a more flexible learning environment.

Adults

A+ Driving School offers driving lessons specifically designed for adult drivers. These lessons are tailored to fit specific problem areas that you feel you need to work on, such as parking, freeway driving, or navigating one-way streets. Our instructors specialize in getting people ready for the state road test and becoming safe drivers. We can take students to the DMV and you can use our car for the test. Our service area covers the entire Twin Cities area with multiple meeting locations.

Adult ESL/ELL Students

At A+ Driving School, we strive to provide the best possible learning environment for our adult ESL/ELL students. Our instructors must be able to communicate with students and give direction on lessons. In the interest of safety, ESL students may be asked to provide an interpreter prior to any further instruction. We strongly suggest that an interpreter ride along during the lesson. Often times a family member or responsible teenager works well. A+ does not provide interpreters.

Behind-the-Wheel Lessons

Our behind-the-wheel lessons are designed to provide students with hands-on driving experience. Our instructors will work with you to identify areas for improvement and help you become a more confident and safe driver. We offer immediate openings for behind-the-wheel lessons in Alexandria, St. Cloud, and Duluth.

Online Classroom

We are proud to offer a fully online classroom for those who prefer a more flexible learning environment. This allows students to learn at their own pace and on their own schedule. Our online classroom is available for registration now.

School Partners

A+ Driving School is proud to partner with several local schools and community education programs. These partnerships allow us to reach more students and provide them with the driving education they need. Some of our school partners include AFSA, Avail Academy, Avalon Academy, Cyber Village Academy, and many more.

Community Education

In addition to our school partnerships, A+ Driving School also offers community education programs designed to promote safe driving practices and provide driving instruction to those in need. These programs are available through various community education centers throughout the Twin Cities area.
