The rooms at the Golden Arrow Lakeside Resort are described as cozy and cute, with some rooms having a private balcony overlooking the lake. The Haystack Specialty room is noted as being spacious with a large tub, separate walk-in rain-style shower, microwave, coffee maker, and large fridge. Some rooms have a whirlpool tub, and the beds are comfortable.

The location of the resort is great, with a lobby that has ceiling-high windows with a lake view. Many guests appreciated the lake view rooms, especially during the fall season. The view from the gym is also noted as being incredible.
Staff and Service
The staff at the resort are described as nice and friendly, with one staff member, "Cousin Vinny, " receiving special praise for being exceptional and accommodating. However, one guest had a poor experience with the manager, who was inflexible and insisted on a penalty fee.
