Business Details
We founded Living Free Ministries in 2008 with a vision to bring Christ-centered hope to those struggling with addiction and life-controlling issues. We have accumulated over fifteen years of experience delivering Christ-centered residential help. Our Men's Program offers a nine-month Christ-centered regeneration curriculum for men battling chemical addiction. Our Women's Program, known as Mary's House, provides residential care for women facing life-controlling challenges. We operate four thrift stores - Redefined, Liberty Thrift, Mebane Thrift, and Haw River Superstore - that generate sustainable funding while offering affordable goods to the community. We steward contributions through our donation center, which directly support program operations and client services while ensuring full transparency.
Our leadership training equips graduates to become spiritually mature leaders within their families and local communities. We regularly host worship nights, graduations, and fundraising events that foster fellowship and celebrate milestones in recovery. Our staff, including founders Jay and Christie Doss, program directors Dustin and Alaina Poe, and Jordan Fernandez, bring combined decades of pastoral and counseling experience. We measure success by the tangible outcomes of restored hope, renewed purpose, and clients walking in their God-given destinies. Our commitment to professional standards and client satisfaction drives continuous improvement and faithful stewardship of every resource entrusted to us.

Donors receive receipts and assurance that their gifts directly support residential recovery programs. Transparent accounting ensures every contribution advances our mission of hope and transformation.
