With its newly renovated Tea Room and extensive grounds, we can accommodate events ranging from intimate gatherings to grand celebrations.
Our History
The Museum has a rich history dating back to the Roaring 20s, when it was known as Libby's Tea Room. This iconic spot was famous for its lobster dinners, and it even hosted Franklin D. Roosevelt in 1932. Today, the museum still boasts an impressive collection of Americana, including antique cars, historic outbuildings, and a century-old baby grand player piano. These unique features make our venue a treasure trove for photographers and event-goers alike.
Services and Amenities
We offer a range of services and amenities to ensure your event is nothing short of unforgettable. Our Tea Room can accommodate seated dining for up to 130 guests with a dance floor and up to 180 guests without. The extensive grounds are perfect for outdoor events, and we can even accommodate tents of any size. Additionally, our in-house team is available to help you plan every detail of your event, from catering to entertainment.
Event Spaces and Rentals
Our Tea Room is available for rent starting at $5,000 for a 5-hour reception. For larger groups, we offer tent sites and can accommodate up to 180 guests without a dance floor. Our rental rates include the use of the Tea Room, kitchen for the caterer, and access to our grounds. Optional services include tent site rentals, ceremony sites, and mosquito spraying.

Johnson Hall Museum is the perfect venue for corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, seminars, and memorial services. Our event space is uniquely designed to capture the elegance and timeless charm of the past. We also have a preferred vendor list to help you find the perfect caterer, florist, planner, and entertainment.
2021 Rental Rates
For corporate and social events, our starting rate is $2,000.00, with a special non-profit rate available. The rental includes the use of the Tea Room and kitchen, set-up, breakdown, and a 5-hour event. For larger groups, we offer tent site rentals and can accommodate up to 180 guests.
