Kurnat Woodworking caters to clients in Bergen/Morris and Essex county of New Jersey and also services Westchester area of New York state. Our office and shop are located in Passaic, NJ. Meet The Owner

Kris Kurnat hails from southern Poland, born into the Gorale highlanders, a people known for having craft in their hands, thanks to their centuries-long traditions of craftsmanship and carpentry. Kris moved to the United States in 2002 and jumped into the woodworking industry, apprenticing for commercial contractors and working for framers and general contractors. He discovered his true passion for custom woodworking and founded Kurnat Woodworking in 2007 with the big idea to make anything from wood that you could dream. Today, Kris still loves his work with a fierce passion and has poured that passion into every aspect of the company.
