Our Experience

Our lead mason is an authorized installer of Jahn Restoration Mortars and has extensive experience in commercial and residential masonry restoration projects. We have had the privilege of working on some of the most iconic landmarks in Washington, DC, including the Historic Tingey House at the Washington Navy Yard, the Tanzania House, and the Perimeter Brick Wall of the Historic Congressional Cemetery. We have also worked on various residential projects in DC and Baltimore, including one featured on "This Old House".

Over time, weathering and decay causes voids in the joints between masonry units, allowing water to enter and causing significant damage. Repointing is a critical maintenance task that keeps water from entering the brick wall cavity, preventing brick failure, cracking, or spalling.
