Empowering Your Pet's Best Life, One Massage at a Time
As a veterinary professional with over 20 years of experience, I, Tammy Young, RVT, CCBW, am dedicated to providing expert canine massage and bodywork services to make your furry friend feel their absolute best. I understand the importance of giving your pet the same comforts that you desire for yourself. As a pet parent myself, I believe that massage can be a vital part of that.
Why Massage?
Just like humans, massage can be incredibly beneficial for dogs. It can help relieve discomfort from getting older, reverse muscle atrophy from inactivity, relieve muscle tension, pain, spasms, and weakness, and even ease chronic or progressive muscular and orthopedic problems. Massage has also been shown to provide emotional support by releasing endorphins, calm hyperactivity and anxiety, ease muscle tension associated with epilepsy and other seizure disorders, and much more.
Services
At Tranquil Tails Canine Massage, I offer a range of services designed to cater to your pet's unique needs. These services include:
- Initial Assessment: A discussion with you, the owner, of your dog's current overall health, medical conditions, medications, and goals for the session.
- Gait Analysis: Observing your dog's gait to analyze if they're putting more or less pressure on any particular limb.
- Massage: Careful palpation and massage of muscle groups with a focus on specific needs.
- Reiki: Hands-on energy therapy to encourage emotional and physical healing.
- Additional Services: Assistance with administering medications, client education, and pregnancy and puppy massage.
