Our History
The original Hotel Granada was built in 1922 and operated for 46 years under the care of Mr. & Mrs. Remage. Located next to San Luis Obispo's premier vaudeville venue, the Elmo Theatre, the hotel became an enclave for traveling artists and actors. When the building was slated to be demolished in 2012, Nomada Hotel Group lovingly restored and reopened the property as Granada Hotel & Bistro. Today, our hotel offers 17 guest rooms, a full-service restaurant, and a craft cocktail lounge, blending the charm of the past with the comforts of modern luxury.
