With over 16 years of experience in providing high-quality Aikido training to the Orlando area, we take pride in our commitment to excellence and our dedication to creating a welcoming environment for students of all ages and abilities.

Our History

Our dojo was founded on the principles of respect, discipline, and self-improvement. We are part of the United States Aikido Federation (USAF) and have the privilege of being the only USAF dojo in the Orlando area. Our instructors are certified through the USAF and Hombu Dojo World Headquarters Japan, ensuring that our students receive the highest level of training and guidance.

Our Instructors

Our instructors are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable in Aikido, but they are also approachable, patient, and dedicated to helping each student reach their full potential. With years of experience in training, regular seminar attendance, and teaching, our instructors are equipped to provide personalized instruction and guidance to students of all levels.

Our Facilities

Our dojo is conveniently located in Winter Springs, with easy access from the I-4 Winter Springs - Longwood exit. Our facility features a floating floor system made of birch plywood with foam blocks for support, preventing the floor from touching the concrete and creating a springy/floating surface that assists in injury prevention. The flooring is covered with 1-inch thick tatami-style matting, providing an excellent system for ukemi (falling).

Our Services

We offer a variety of services designed to meet the needs of students of all ages and abilities. Our adult classes focus on teaching the principles of Aikido, including techniques for self-defense, balance, and harmony. Our kids' classes are designed to promote physical fitness, discipline, and self-confidence in a fun and supportive environment. We also offer a class schedule that is flexible and accommodating, ensuring that our students can find a class time that fits their busy schedules.

In addition to our Aikido classes, we are excited to offer Uechi Ryu Karate classes for students ages 12 and up. Our dojo is hosting world-renowned 10th Dan, George Mattson's organization, Mattson Uechi Ryu Karate Orlando for training Mondays 6-7:30pm & Wednesdays 6-7pm. Chief Instructor David Berndt, 7th Dan Kyoshi, will be teaching the traditional Okinawan Karate classes. Students registering for both Aikido and Karate will receive a discounted rate.
