Dave's Delicious Deli

Dave's Delicious Deli is a family-owned and operated deli located in the heart of Caldwell, NJ. We specialize in fresh, hearty sandwiches that will leave you wanting more. Our menu features a wide variety of options, including our famous Chicken Cutlet and Chicken Salad Sandwiches, as well as other delicious creations that will satisfy any appetite.

Our Story

Growing up in Caldwell, I was a huge fan of Nicco's Italian Deli, and when I heard that Nicco was retiring, I knew I had to take the opportunity to carry on his legacy. With the help of my friends and family, I was able to make my dream a reality, and Dave's Delicious Deli was born. Nicco himself trained me for a month, and I was able to bring my own experiences working at Apontes in the 90s to the table. We're proud to continue serving up the rich, complex flavors of Nicco's style of subs, while also adding our own unique twists and flavors to the menu.

Our Food

At Dave's Delicious Deli, we're all about layering flavors to create the perfect sandwich. Whether you're a foodie looking to try something new and exciting, or you prefer to keep things simple and traditional, we've got you covered. Our bread is fresh from Niccolo's in Montclair, and we offer a variety of bases, including lettuce, potatoes, and wraps. And if you're looking for something a little extra, our in-store made coleslaw is the perfect addition to any sandwich.

Our Location

Dave's Delicious Deli is conveniently located in the center of Caldwell on Bloomfield Ave, right across the street from the community center. We have municipal parking available behind the building, as well as across the street at the community center. And if you're looking for a more convenient option, you can park next door in the bank parking lot or behind my car along the building.
