Welcome to Leonard Orthodontics, where we have been creating beautiful smiles for patients of all ages for almost 40 years. Our practice began in 1974 when Dr. Thomas Leonard opened our North Andover location, followed by the Amesbury location in 1976. In 1998, Dr. Jeffrey Leonard joined his father, and in 2008, he took over the practice. We built and opened our newest location in Andover, MA, and recently, Dr. Mary Angelic Gangoy-Leonard has made a commitment to our patients to continue Dr. Jeffrey Leonard's legacy.

Our History

Leonard Orthodontics began when Dr. Thomas Leonard opened our North Andover location in 1974. Soon after, in 1976, the Amesbury location was opened. As our practices continued to grow, the father-son team became a reality when Dr. Jeffrey Leonard joined his father in 1998. Dr. Jeffrey Leonard took over the practice in 2008, and we built and opened our newest location in Andover, MA. Recently, with the sudden loss of Dr. Jeffrey Leonard, his wife who is also an orthodontist, Dr. Mary Angelic Gangoy has made a commitment to our patients to continue Dr. Jeffrey Leonard's legacy.

In an effort to provide a more pleasant patient experience with updated orthodontic technology, our North Andover office was expanded and completely renovated in 2011. All of our offices are in convenient locations with easy parking and access. We continue to serve our patients in Andover and North Andover with state-of-the-art technology, high-end equipment and beautifully decorated office space.

Services

At Leonard Orthodontics, we offer a variety of orthodontic services for all ages, including:

• Types of Braces: We offer traditional metal braces, ceramic braces, and lingual braces. We will work with you to determine the best option for your individual needs and goals.
• Invisalign: Invisalign is a popular alternative to traditional braces that uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually straighten your teeth.
• TADs: Temporary Anchorage Devices (TADs) are small titanium anchors that are temporarily placed in the jawbone to provide additional anchorage for tooth movement.
