Higher Way Travel was conceived from a love story that bloomed amidst the vibrant culture of the cannabis community. A heartfelt connection that began at the 2006 Cannabis Cup in Amsterdam between April Black, a devoted cannabis enthusiast and seasoned Coffeeshop Travel representative, and Bobby Black, then the senior editor of High Times magazine. April, who deftly managed travel arrangements and customer service for the High Times Cannabis Cup every November, and Bobby, a seasoned veteran of Cannabis Cups and the magazine's events, found themselves drawn together by their shared passion for cannabis and adventure. Their initial spark ignited into a whirlwind romance, culminating in a kiss amidst the excitement of the awards show.

A Journey Fueled by Love and Cannabis

The years that followed were a testament to their love story, crisscrossing continents and exploring diverse cultures fueled by their shared love for cannabis and travel. From the serene beauty of ancient ruins like the Acropolis in Athens and the Mayan temples of Chichen Itza, to the vibrant energy of coffeeshops in Amsterdam and Barcelona, and the breathtaking landscapes of Costa Rica's cloud forests and the iconic Grand Canyon, each journey deepened their connection and fueled their dreams.
