Rome Federal Credit Union

Rome Federal Credit Union, the oldest credit union in Rome, has been serving its members since 1936. Our journey started as the Revere Rome Division Employees Federal Credit Union, with a small office at the Revere Copper and Brass mill. The credit union was created to serve the financial needs of Revere employees, their spouses, and their immediate families.

Over the years, we have grown and adapted to the changing needs of our community. In June 1980, we moved to a new building on Seneca Street, and in 1985, we merged with the Rome Municipal Employee Federal Credit Union, changing our name to Rome Federal Credit Union. This merger significantly expanded our membership, which now includes employees of Revere Copper Products, Inc, Navelli Cadiliac, Davidson's Chevrolet, Rome Memorial Hospital Employees, and the entire City of Rome Employees.
