Our dedicated team of passionate animal lovers is the heart and soul of South Pointe Animal Hospital. We are led by Dr. Teryl L. Mayer, a highly experienced veterinarian with a long-standing commitment to providing exceptional care.

Dr. Mayer's journey to veterinary medicine began in her childhood, where she nurtured a deep love for animals. After pursuing various paths, she finally realized her dream of becoming a veterinarian, graduating from the esteemed Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2000. Her extensive experience spans various settings, including large veterinary hospitals with state-of-the-art facilities and a 24-hour emergency room. Dr. Mayer's desire to provide personalized care and build lasting relationships with her clients led her to South Pointe Animal Hospital in 2006, where she has been serving the community for many years.
