White House Pre-School

At White House Pre-school, we are passionate about teaching and instilling a love for learning in children. Our goal is to create an engaging and fun environment where children can develop the fundamental skills they need for kindergarten. We believe that every child has the potential to succeed and we strive to help them change their mindset from "I can't" to "I can!"

Our Services

White House Pre-school offers a comprehensive curriculum that covers the basics for kindergarten, as well as introduces site words and basic Spanish terms such as numbers, colors, and common greetings. Our classes are designed to provide a solid foundation for young learners, while also incorporating fun and engaging activities.

We offer classes for 4-year-olds, with three different session times available: 8:00 - 10:00 AM, 10:20 AM - 12:20 PM, and 12:40 PM - 2:40 PM. Each class meets on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and is $90 per month, with a one-time registration fee of $90 for supplies. Please note that children must be 4 years old before they start preschool.

In addition to our in-person classes, we also offer an online program for those who are unable to attend traditional preschool. Our online program provides the same high-quality education and fun activities, all from the comfort of your own home.

Our Curriculum

Our curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including:

• Writing and spelling their name
• All letter names and sounds
• Difference between upper and lowercase letters
• Numbers 1-20
• Colors and shapes
• Recognizing same and different
• Rhyming words and syllables
• Opposites
• Holding markers and scissors correctly
• Days of the week, months of the year, and seasons
• Reciting the Pledge of Allegiance
• Basic Spanish (greetings, colors, and numbers)
• Crafts
• Weekly online STEM activities
• Spotlight student
• Holiday parties and a Thanksgiving program
• Field trips

Our Classroom

Our classroom is a fun, creative space where children can learn and grow. We provide a variety of materials and activities to keep children engaged and motivated. Our classroom is designed to be a warm and inviting environment where children feel connected and engaged.

Our Teacher

Miss Karrie, the creator of White House Pre-school, is a native of Southeastern Idaho who is happy to have recently moved to Shelley, her husband Aaron's hometown. Together they have two lively, adventurous boys, Beckham and Crosby. In her free time, Miss Karrie enjoys reading, cooking, and hosting parties. She is passionate about teaching and is committed to helping children love to learn.
