The Mental Health Crisis Response Institute empowers individuals and communities to create a more supportive and inclusive environment by providing comprehensive training and resources on mental health crisis intervention.
What We Do
We offer a diverse range of trainings and programs to address the unique needs of various professionals and community members. Our offerings include:
1. Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) Training
- Comprehensive 40-hour training for law enforcement, corrections, healthcare, educators, and community members to effectively intervene in mental health crises.
- Learn de-escalation techniques, communication strategies, and crisis intervention protocols.
2. Train the Trainer Programs
- Empower aspiring crisis intervention trainers to deliver impactful training programs in their own communities.
- Receive in-depth knowledge and practical skills to facilitate impactful learning experiences.
3. Community Conversations
