Half Batch Brewing

Established in 2017, Half Batch Brewing is Hendersonville, TN's first and only craft brewery. Located just 20 minutes north of Nashville, our brewery and public room are situated in the Hazel Path Center, at the intersection of Main St and Bonita Pkwy. We were founded on the desire to bring people together to enjoy great beer brewed in Sumner County. Whether you're a local or just visiting, we want you to have a place to gather and enjoy a pint with friends.

Our Story

Half Batch Brewing was a long time in the making for founder Nate Newton. Born from his first homebrewing experiments while in college in the mid 1990's, Half Batch officially began brewing beer in Hendersonville in the summer of 2017. The public room opened in the fall of that year. Today, visitors from all over the world stop by the Half Batch Brewing public room to sip on delicious brews created right in Sumner County!

Our Goal

Our goal is simple: Whatever the occasion is when you're having a Half Batch beer, we want the beer to be delicious and we hope you're having fun. We strive to offer a variety of beers that cater to every taste, from classic British bitters to innovative seasonal brews.

Meet Cheeky Pete

Cheeky Pete is more than just a mascot; it's a motto, a beer, and a symbol of our brewery's values. It started with an unofficial motto - 'Never Half Ass' - which reflects our commitment to doing our best every chance we get. Our brewers created a classic British bitter, which we named Cheeky Pete, and the donkey in our logo became a mascot, representing our playful and hardworking spirit.

Location and Hours

Come visit us at our new location: 154 Bonita Parkway, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Our public room hours are Mondays 4-8 PM, Tuesdays - Closed, Wednesdays 4-8 PM, Thursdays 4-10 PM, Fridays 4-10 PM, Saturdays 2-10 PM, and Sundays 2-7 PM. We can't wait to welcome you to our new home!
