SSN Recording Studios

Solid Sound North (SSN) Studios is a state-of-the-art recording studio located in Brewster, Massachusetts. Our studio offers a unique blend of digital and analog recording and mixing capabilities, making us the perfect choice for musicians, voice over artists, and bands looking to produce high-quality music. Our team, led by owner and audio engineer Tim Carlin, has decades of experience in the music industry, having worked with numerous independent and label-backed bands.

Our studio is equipped with a Solid State Logic Axiom MT+ 48 Channel Digital Console, which provides the flexibility to mix solely "in the box" using Pro Tools Ultimate or via analog summing to a digital mixdown deck. We also have a range of vintage outboard gear and hundreds of digital plug-ins available for use. This versatility allows us to cater to a wide range of clients and projects, from simple demo recordings to full-scale album productions.

In addition to recording and mixing services, SSN Studios also offers full mastering services. Our mastering facility is designed to ensure that your music is optimized for distribution across all platforms, ensuring it sounds its best on any device.
