Dialectic Brewing

Locally owned and operated, Dialectic Brewing Co. is a beloved product of America, specializing in the production of craft beer. Our journey began when our founders, Dylan, Hannah, and Jacob, decided to share their passion for craft beer with their hometown community.

The idea for Dialectic Brewing Co. was sparked in Eugene, Oregon, where Dylan and Hannah moved to study Sociology at the University of Oregon. They discovered the vibrant craft beer scene in the Pacific Northwest, which inspired them to learn the art of brewing. After their first experience with craft beer, Dylan began to understand the complexities of brewing, and he soon started brewing his own beer with equipment Hannah had gifted him.

Their brewing journey continued in Moorhead, Minnesota, where they went on to graduate with their degrees in Sociology from Minnesota State University Moorhead. During this time, Dylan worked at Junkyard Brewing Company, learning the ins and outs of brewing and serving craft beer. The idea of owning their own brewery was born, and it wasn't long before they decided to turn their dream into a reality.

In 2015, Dylan and Hannah moved to Ohio for graduate school, where they discovered a nanobrewery called Bowling Green Beer Works. They became regulars, then employees, at the brewery, with Dylan focusing on brewing and Hannah managing the taproom. This experience allowed them to work together and provide beer that the patrons enjoyed.

Dylan's brother, Jacob, a Water Quality Specialist, joined the team, and together, they decided to move back to their hometown of Mandan, North Dakota, to share their passion for craft beer with the community. Inspired by their education in Sociology, they wanted to create an atmosphere conducive to conversation and positive interactions, hence the name Dialectic Brewing Co.

Today, Dialectic Brewing Co. is a thriving business, offering a variety of craft beers and merchandise to the local community. Our hours of operation are Monday: 5pm-8pm, Tuesday-Thursday: 4-10pm, Friday-Saturday: 4-11pm, and Sunday: Closed. We are grateful for the support we have received and look forward to continuing to serve our community with the best craft beer in the region.
