Established in 1992 by Mike and Joanne Hall, South Texas Growers has grown and evolved over the years to become a premier wholesale and retail nursery. Our journey began in Elemendorf, Texas, where we built a strong foundation for our business. In 2009, we sold our Elemendorf location to focus all our efforts on our Bulverde location, which we acquired in 2002.

With over 40 years of experience in the nursery and landscaping field, we have developed and refined our business methods to ensure that our customers receive the highest quality products and services. We continuously seek out new and innovative techniques to uphold our core values and maintain our commitment to excellence.

Our nursery features 3 acres of outdoor trees, shrubs, and landscape plants, offering a wide variety of perennials, shrubs, succulents, trees, and much more to enhance your landscape. We are proud to be involved in every stage of the plant cycle, from seed to sale, and we take great care in nurturing our plants to ensure they thrive in your garden.

Locally grown plants are a specialty at South Texas Growers. Many of your favorite Texas native and adaptive plants are home-grown at our nursery in Bulverde. These plants are acclimated to our weather extremes, alkaline soil, and hard water, promising to thrive in your garden.

We also offer landscape design services in Bulverde and surrounding areas. Our experienced designers will work closely with you to create a beautiful and functional outdoor space that reflects your personal style and meets your specific needs.
