MCB Engineering Associates, LLC is an energetic civil engineering firm providing design services in residential, commercial, and industrial land development. Our dynamic capabilities allow us to work directly with our clients on a diverse range of projects from conception through construction. No project is too large or too small. We focus on customer service and innovative solutions, putting the 'civil' back in civil engineering and are committed to providing professional excellence in product and service.

Our services include residential and commercial site planning, land subdivision, storm water management, septic system design, individual lot development, and soil logs/soil percolation testing. We also have expertise in matters of the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection, including sanitary sewer extension, water main extension, and the Division of Land Use Regulations. Our established relationships with various professional disciplines enable us to compile a complete land development group.

Our company was derived from Joseph F. Barbieri and Associates, a land surveying and civil engineering firm that began in the 1970s. After the retirement of the founding principal, Joseph F. Barbieri, Sr., in 2002, Joseph F. Barbieri and Associates redefined themselves exclusively as a land surveying firm. The engineering portion of the business became MCB Engineering Associates, PC, which then became an LLC in 2004.

Our team includes experienced professionals like Patrick D. McClellan, P.E., and Matthew G. Clark, P.E., who are both licensed professional engineers in the State of New Jersey. They have been owners of the firm since 2002 and have extensive knowledge in civil engineering.
