Spring Creek Music

Since 2001, Spring Creek Music has been providing guitar and bass lessons and instruction in Louisville, Colorado. Our core group of instructors have been working together for over 15 years, and we take pride in the fact that our staff is comprised of dedicated and passionate working professionals who are eager to share their knowledge and love of music. We firmly believe that musical diversity demands diversity in our teachers, and as such, we have eight different teachers who specialize in different styles of guitar music.

Our Teachers

At Spring Creek Music, we have a team of eight experienced and passionate guitar and bass instructors, each with their own unique style and area of expertise. Our instructors specialize in various styles of guitar music, including acoustic, electric, and bass guitar. We take great care in matching our students with the teacher that will best fit their musical interests and needs, regardless of age or ability.

Our Philosophy

At Spring Creek Music, we believe that by working closely with our students, we can help them develop a strong base of guitar fundamentals while tailoring each lesson to the individual student's needs and interests. We recognize that each student has their own priorities and goals for their lessons, and we work hard to help them achieve those goals. Our goal is to make learning the guitar a fun, interesting, and rewarding experience for all our students.

Our Lessons

All of our lessons take place at our well-equipped studio on Front Street in Old Downtown Louisville. We offer lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, and all of our instructors are committed to helping each student reach their full potential. During each lesson, we establish a strong base of guitar fundamentals and then tailor the lesson to the individual student's needs and interests. We believe that by working closely with our students, we can help them enjoy their instruments and lessons, making the learning process fun, interesting, and rewarding.

Meet Our Instructors

Jay Stern is the founder of Spring Creek Music and specializes in acoustic guitar. Tom Carleno specializes in electric guitar and has been teaching for over 25 years. Richard Ellis specializes in blues and rock guitar, as well as bass guitar. Tim Carmichael specializes in jazz and rock guitar and has been teaching for over 20 years.
