Welcome to Creative Edge Dance Studio, a premier dance studio in Reno, NV. Our mission is to bring a variety of quality dance styles and techniques to dancers throughout Northern Nevada. Our highly skilled staff are professionals in their fields and have a passion for working with children and young adults. We offer unbeatable training in-house, and we also bring celebrity guest teachers right here to Northern Nevada for students to train and work with.
Our History
Creative Edge has been a 20-year project in the making - a childhood dream come true. Sharing my passion and knowledge with the next generation of dancers is absolutely what I live for! Creating outstanding dancers, but more importantly, outstanding people, is my mission. The future of dance is bright, and to be able to have a hand in that is incredibly rewarding.
What We Do
At Creative Edge Dance Studio, we offer a comprehensive range of dance classes and programs for dancers of all ages and levels. Our classes include ballet, jazz, contemporary, hip hop, and more. We also have a competition team for dancers who would like to perform multiple times a year in a competitive setting. Our competition team is for dancers who are committed to taking their dance skills to the next level.
Competition Team
Our competition team is for dancers who would like to perform multiple times a year in a competitive setting. We have a mini team for our tiny but mighty dancers ages 4-9, and junior, teen, and senior teams for dancers through their senior year of high school. Our team members will compete in 4-6 mandatory competitions each season, and dozens of optional conventions and competitions will be planned throughout the year.
Recitals
We have two annual recitals, our winter showcase and spring recital. The winter showcase is a great halfway mark for our dancers to show what they've learned in the fall semester! Each class will put together a routine for the winter showcase to present all of their hard work so far. Our spring recital is our final bow of the dance season. It is an opportunity for each dancer to perform on stage for all of their friends, family, and supporters!
Faculty
Our faculty is comprised of highly skilled and experienced instructors who have a passion for teaching and working with children and young adults. Our instructors have trained in all styles of dance from a very young age and have won numerous choreography awards over the years.

Events
Throughout the year, we participate in community performances, parades, and many other outside performances that present themselves to our dancers. We also have a spring recital, winter showcase, and other events that are open to our dancers and their families.

Classes for All Ages
The studio's diverse class offerings allow children of different ages, from 2.5 to 11 years old, to participate and enjoy dance classes. The classes are tailored to meet the needs of each age group, ensuring that each child has a positive experience.
Success in Competitions
The studio's competition team has achieved impressive results, with the mini group taking 2nd place and the junior group winning 1st place at nationals.
