Red Wheelbarrow Pediatrics is a solo-practitioner office that aims to provide comprehensive, exceptional, and personalized care for its patients and their families. Our practice is inspired by the famous poet, pediatrician, and Rutherford native, William Carlos Williams, and his most renowned poem, "The Red Wheelbarrow." At Red Wheelbarrow Pediatrics, we strive to deliver patient-centered healthcare services using modern technology, such as electronic health records and online scheduling, while maintaining traditional values of care.

Our vision encompasses a reduction or nearly elimination of wait times, enabling unhurried extended appointments. This setting allows for a meaningful dialogue between the doctor, patient, and their family, emphasizing the importance of patient education and ensuring a thorough and personalized approach to pediatric care. Our patients can access their patient portals or link to our telehealth waiting room by clicking the links provided. Telehealth visits must be scheduled with the office, and the doctor will meet you in the virtual waiting room at the scheduled time.

About Dr. Wayne

I am Wayne Narucki, known professionally as "Dr. Wayne." I have been practicing as a pediatrician since 2004, following my residency training at Schneider Children's Hospital/LIJ Medical Center in New Hyde Park, NY. Born and raised in Hudson County, where I attended North Bergen High School, I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry from Columbia University and my medical degree from UMDNJ-New Jersey Medical School. I am board-certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and am a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.

After completing my residency training, I worked as an attending physician in the Pediatrics Department at St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx and transitioned to primary care. I currently reside in Rutherford with my wife, Carol, and our two children, Julia and Wes.
