Our Roots

HLC Equity's story began with the humble beginnings of our founding family. Benjamin Lipsitz, born in 1874, was a European immigrant who settled in the United States and started a wholesale distribution business with his children. His son, Herman Lipsitz, born in 1909, continued the family business while pursuing his passion for law and real estate. Herman's dedication to his community and his innovative approach to business led to the establishment of HLC Equity, which has since grown into a prominent real estate investment company.
