Our story began in 1959 when our family moved to Hatteras Island from Windsor, North Carolina. John Conner Sr., along with his wife Bernice, daughter Merian, and son Johnny, became the proprietors of the Pea Island Campground Store. Since then, we've grown and evolved to become a one-stop shopping experience that offers everything from fresh meats and produce to specialty items and beach gear.
