Morgan County's only full-service veterinary hospital, we are your choice for a Wartburg Animal Clinic. We are dedicated to helping you and your pets achieve the healthiest, happiest life possible. Our services include vaccinations, laboratory testing, surgeries, dental care, radiology, dermatology, internal medicine, and preventative health. We also offer bathing, nail trims, and other services to ensure your pet's well-being.

Our Services

We provide a wide range of services to cater to the needs of your pets. Our vaccination services include Rabies, DHPP, Kennel Cough, Lyme, Leptospirosis, Canine Flu, and Rattlesnake. For laboratory testing, we offer Complete Blood Counts, Chemistries, Early Kidney Function Testing, Pancreatic Lipase levels, Blood Glucose, Thyroid, Tick-Born Diseases, Parvovirus, Feline Immunodeficiency Viruses, Urinalysis, and Intestinal Parasite Checks. Our surgical services include Spays and Neuters, Mass Removals, Laceration Repair, Abdominal Surgery, Bladder Stone Removal, Amputations, Eye Removals, Puppy Tail Docks, and Dewclaw Removals. We also have an in-house digital x-ray facility and a dermatology department that offers Allergy Evaluation and Testing, Skin Scrapes, Ear Cytology, and Allergy Shots.

Meet Our Staff

Our team includes experienced veterinarians like Dr. Linda Cassens James, who graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004, and Dr. Jessica Smith Traub, who graduated in 2011. Both are dedicated to providing top-notch care for your pets. Dr. James has extensive experience in small animal medicine, surgery, dermatology, dentistry, and preventative medicine, while Dr. Smith has worked in various clinics in the area, focusing on internal medicine and surgery.

About Us

We are committed to serving the cats, dogs, and other small animals of Morgan County and the surrounding areas. We are open five days a week and two Saturdays of each month. Our clinic hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 5pm, with a closure from 1pm to 2pm on Wednesdays. The first two Saturdays of the month, we are open from 8:30am to 12:30pm. If you need emergency care, we have a referral arrangement with the Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Knoxville.
