Our district operates specialized facilities for proper disposal of household hazardous waste, electronics, and industrial materials. We provide scheduled appointment services in Canton and Wayne County locations. Our initiatives include school presentations, public workshops, and digital resources covering material sorting, contamination prevention, and sustainability benefits. The Master Recycler Program trains community leaders to promote recycling awareness locally.
Recycling Grants
Our district offers multiple grant programs to support local recycling initiatives. Funding options include curbside program reimbursements, community cleanup support, and equipment grants for municipalities. Applications are evaluated based on environmental impact, community benefit, and alignment with our solid waste management plan priorities.
