At Resurgence Brewing Company, we're all about spreading the love for high-quality, small-batch craft beer and spirits in a City of Good Neighbors community gathering environment. Our story began with a humble beginning in New York City, where our owner, Jeff Ware, and his wife, Erin, would frequent beer gardens and wonder why Buffalo lacked such a space. After two years of brewing recipes in the kitchen with a 5-gallon system made from converted Coleman coolers, cooking pots, and a turkey fryer (yes, you read that right!), they packed their bags for Buffalo in January 2012. Fast forward to June 2014, and our first location on Niagara Street was born. Today, we brew just under 5,000 gallons of beer a week.
