MEET OUR DENTIST - DR. EDWARD B. BROBST

Dr. Edward Brobst is a 1985 graduate of the UMKC School of Dentistry. With over 30 years of experience in the dental profession, he has gained extensive knowledge and expertise in providing quality dental care. Dr. Brobst is a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Society, and the Greater Kansas City Dental Society, where he stays updated on the latest research through continuing education courses. He is dedicated to helping patients achieve and maintain their best possible dental health, spending time with his wife of over 35 years, and pursuing his hobbies, including rooting for the Chiefs and Royals, movies, music, and endless DIY home improvement projects.

MEET OUR HYGIENIST - RACHEL GONZALEZ

Rachel Gonzalez is a registered dental hygienist who joined Brobst Family Dentistry in 2020. She received her degree in applied sciences dental hygiene from Georgia State University. Rachel has a great passion for helping people, producing high-quality care, and building patient rapport to gain their trust and confidence. She was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, and enjoys spending time with her two daughters, fishing, hunting, archery tournaments, and all things outdoors.

MEET OUR OFFICE MANAGER - KAY WOOD

Kay Wood is the friendly face you see when you come into our office. As our office manager, she makes sure that our patients receive the best care possible and feel relaxed and at ease. Kay has been working for Dr. Brobst for over ten years. She was born in western Kansas and moved to Kansas City from Omaha, NE in 1995. Kay has been married to her husband, Dave, for 29 years, and has three wonderful children and three grandchildren. Her hobbies include gardening, fishing, and boating.

MEET OUR DENTAL ASSISTANT - RASHELLE MCCRACKIN

Rashelle McCrackin is a certified dental assistant who was born and raised in Holden, MO. She enjoys helping others and strives to make patients feel comfortable and relaxed during their dental visit. Rashelle is a valuable member of our team, and we are proud to have her expertise and dedication to patient care.

PREVENTATIVE SERVICES

We prioritize preventing dental issues before they occur. Regular dental check-ups and cleanings are crucial to maintaining optimal oral health. During a routine teeth cleaning appointment, our dental hygienist removes plaque and tartar from teeth, preventing cavities and gum disease. Flouride treatments strengthen the enamel and protect teeth from decay. Dental X-rays and examinations help identify dental issues early on, making it easier to treat and prevent further damage.

RESTORATIVE TREATMENTS

If dental issues arise, we offer restorative treatments to repair the damage. We provide cavity treatments and plaque removal to prevent further decay. Veneers, crowns, and root canals help restore damaged teeth, preventing further damage and restoring functionality. Tooth extraction is a last resort when a tooth is beyond repair.

COSMETIC DENTISTRY

We provide cosmetic dentistry services to improve the appearance of teeth. Teeth whitening brightens and improves the color of teeth, making them look healthier and more attractive. Veneers, crowns, and tooth shaping enhance the appearance of teeth and improve their shape and alignment.
