Founded in 1994 by Stephen E. Doherty, Diamond Iron Works (DIW) is considered the industry leader in Commercial Miscellaneous and Structural Steel/Metal Fabrication for the Greater Boston, Lowell, MA, and Southern New Hampshire areas. Under Stephen's leadership, Diamond has maintained an excellent track record of staying on budget and on schedule for the projects we partner into. Diamond has grown into more than five acres in the heart of Lawrence's Urban Renewal Development Area and now employs upwards of 45 people from 10 different Countries. Diamond uses the latest in model-based construction and accounting technology to make sure our staff is always at the forefront of an ever-changing market place. Our Fabrication Teams work out of a 30,000 square foot Fabrication Shop outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment designed specifically to handle the volume and quality standards necessary to lead in today's Industry. Our Fabrication Team Leaders have a combined 125+ years of experience with our company.
