The firm was established in 2012 by Peter A Duarte, with a vision to create smart, sustainable, and environmentally friendly spaces that benefit both humanity and the environment. Peter A Duarte, the founder and president of studio PAD, Inc., is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in landscape architecture. He directs the conceptual, schematic, and final design process at the firm, ensuring a team-oriented, collaborative, and high-quality service approach. Mr. Duarte has extensive knowledge and experience in various areas, including hotel/resort, urban streetscape design, high-density residential, on-podium structures, mixed-use residential, and master planning projects throughout the U.S., Canada, and abroad. He holds a Master of Landscape Architecture degree and a Bachelor of Science degree (Horticultural Science & Business Major) from the University of Guelph in Ontario, Canada.
