Carr Construction, Inc. is a specialty contractor that has been engaged in the erection of structural and miscellaneous steel for commercial and industrial buildings since 1986. Based in the Portland Metro Area, we are a union contractor signatory to Pacific NW Ironworkers Locals 29 and 86. Our company has built a reputation for delivering high-quality steel construction services, with a diverse portfolio of projects ranging from $50K to $30M+ in value.

Our expertise in steel erection allows us to handle projects of all sizes and complexities, from the structural steel and bracing on single-story buildings with mezzanines, to the placement of a 747 jet on columns while the remainder of the structural steel is erected beneath. We have a proven track record of planning and engineering projects with precision and care, ensuring that installations are completed safely and efficiently.

In addition to our steel erection services, we also provide procurement and management of the detailing and fabrication of structural steel, miscellaneous steel, and decking materials. We have long-standing relationships with a core group of trusted fabricators, and our experience in the industry allows us to manage the fabrication process with skill and expertise.

Our 2022 OSHA Log shows zero lost days and zero recordable incidents, a testament to our commitment to safety.
