Our History

Iliamna Lake Contractors was formed in July 1998 by the Igiugig Village Council, with the primary goal of creating more economic opportunities for local residents. Faced with the looming economic disaster in the fishing industry, the Village Council saw an opportunity to train and utilize local talent and equipment to obtain jobs in the Lake Iliamna Region. Since then, we have grown to become a leading construction company in the region, with a team-oriented, responsive, innovative, ethical, and skilled staff.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of construction services, including airstrip construction, road construction, demolition services, camp services, quarry management, and gravel sales. Our airstrip construction services include building and maintaining airstrips, while our road construction services include building and repairing roads, highways, and bridges. Our demolition services involve safely and efficiently demolishing structures, and our camp services include providing comfortable and convenient accommodations for workers and clients. Additionally, we manage the Igiugig Gravel Pit, extracting and marketing high-quality gravel products.
