Our Story

Anna's journey in the beauty industry began in the 1990s, when she would spend hours pouring over fashion magazines, practicing makeup techniques, and perfecting her craft. She attended cosmetology school immediately after high school and went on to work with prestigious cosmetic companies, assisting celebrity makeup artists, and training with leading beauty experts.

In 2016, Anna started her company, Makeup by Anna Grimes, and in 2023, she opened Atascadero's first makeup and brow studio, a.beauty. Today, Makeup by Anna Grimes is a sought-after beauty destination, offering a range of services that cater to the beauty needs of clients from all over the world.
