Our Story

John W. Finocan funeral home was originally opened as a furniture store and funeral parlor in 1905 by founder John W. Finocan Sr. It was operated by the three Finocan brothers, John, Thomas, and Timothy, until 1946 when it was taken over by the founder's son, John W. Finocan Jr. In 1982, his son, Timothy C. Finocan, assumed ownership of the business. The family continues its tradition of old-fashioned service to the community, built on a reputation of fairness and sensitivity to customers.
