At Corinna Road to Elderhood, we believe that the collective transition we are currently experiencing offers a unique opportunity for individuals over 50 to step into a new role - that of an Elder. This transition is not just about age, but about the wisdom, experience, and spiritual growth that comes with it. As an Elder, one can lead the way towards a more heart-centered world, acknowledging our interconnection and embracing a new perspective on life and death.
What does it mean to be an Elder?
To us, being an Elder means having the ability to dance with the old and the new, being aware of what serves and what needs to be let go of. It involves being willing to shoulder the weight of being role models for another way of being, actively contributing to communities, and having a deep connection to Spirit or Soul. Elders have come to a place of peace around death, which allows them to look at the world from a completely different perspective.
Corinna's Journey
Corinna Stoeffl, the founder of Corinna Road to Elderhood, is a lifelong learner who loves personal growth. She jokes that Change is her middle name. After turning 70, Corinna decided to own her status as an Elder, a title she called in 20 years ago with a Rite of Passage ceremony. Her vision is to empower people over 50 to explore this transition and its possibilities.
