Our Story

At Keystone Science School, we believe that the great outdoors is the ultimate classroom. For over 40 years, we've been inspiring curiosity and critical thinking in students of all ages through our unique blend of science, adventure, and fun. Our mission is to change lives and strengthen communities by providing hands-on learning experiences that foster a deeper connection with nature and each other.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of programs and services designed to get students outside and learning. From our traditional overnight summer camps for kids in grades 2-8, to our Adventures programs for teens in grades 6-12, we have something for every age and interest. Our outdoor education field trips provide schools with unique opportunities for hands-on learning, and our professional development workshops help teachers take their students' learning to the next level.

Day Camps

Our Day Camps are designed for kids in grades K-5, with week-long programs that are packed with fun activities and learning experiences. From horseback riding to water sports, our day camps provide kids with the opportunity to try new things and make new friends.

Outdoor Education

Our outdoor education programs are designed to provide schools with unique opportunities for hands-on learning. From dorm field trips to camping field trips, we offer a range of options that cater to different ages and interests. Our expert instructors provide guidance and support every step of the way, ensuring that students get the most out of their learning experience.

Adventures

Our Adventures programs are designed for teens in grades 6-12, with a focus on leadership, teamwork, and outdoor skills. From rock climbing to rafting, our programs provide teens with the opportunity to challenge themselves and develop new skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.

Girls in STEM

Our Girls in STEM program is a specialized program designed for girls in grades 4-8, with a focus on science, technology, engineering, and math. Our program provides girls with the opportunity to learn from female mentors and role models, and to develop their skills and confidence in a supportive and encouraging environment.
