Services Offered
*Individual Therapy*
With over 25 years of experience in helping people recover from various disorders and issues, Natasha Weston takes pride in her ability to work with clients of all ages, genders, and ethnic backgrounds. During an in-depth evaluation, she and the client determine if they are a good fit for each other and establish treatment goals based on the client's individual needs.
*Couples Therapy*
As a relationship specialist, Natasha Weston employs a variety of evidence-based techniques, including Imago, EFT, and the Gottman Method, to help improve communication, emotional support, and intimacy within couples. By exploring resistance to intimacy and destructive patterns, she works with one or both members of a couple to deepen their relationship and foster a stronger bond.
*Eating Disorders*
Having developed her original specialty at The Renfrew Center, a world-renowned center for Eating Disorders, Natasha Weston collaborates with nutritionists and physicians to tailor treatment to each client's needs. Following an extensive evaluation, she determines the appropriate level of care and makes referrals to higher levels of care when necessary.
*Post Traumatic Stress Disorder*
Natasha Weston has received training in EMDR and other PTSD techniques that have proven successful in treating trauma. She conducts in-depth evaluations to determine the most effective techniques for each client's unique circumstances, always prioritizing safety and the development of a healthy shield against triggers that may cause re-traumatization.
*Alcohol & Drug Addictions*
Having maintained an interest in the field since her first job in a drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, Natasha Weston incorporates a twelve-step program into her clients' treatment plans, when appropriate. Although she remains open to alternative approaches, she has generally found this combination to be highly successful.
*Family Therapy*
Family therapy, while difficult to schedule, can be a powerful form of therapy when possible. By providing a safe environment for family members to express themselves, family therapy encourages open communication, fosters understanding, and addresses underlying issues that may contribute to symptomatic behavior.
